Eilidh Thomson has been named the first ever Scottish Student Triathlete of the Year.
The former Castle Douglas High School pupil received the prize, awarded by Scottish Student Sport.
Eilidh is the reigning female series champion and has excelled both on and off the field and play – not just in her training and racing but as a valuable club coach and committee member of Edinburgh University Triathlon Club.
