Former Cardinals teammates publicly wish Josh Rosen well after trade to Dolphins

Quarterback Josh Rosen is now a member of the Miami Dolphins. The Arizona Cardinals traded him Friday night for the 62nd pick in the draft and a fifth-round pick in 2020.

Rosen, who unfollowed the Cardinals on Instagram and Twitter after the team drafted Kyler Murray first overall on Thursday, wasted no time showing his excitement for the new opportunity.

Several of his former Cardinals teammates wished him well.

Here are some of the comments:

From RB David Johnson: Gonna be one of the best when it’s all said and done 👌🏾

From tackle D.J. Humphries: Know you gone kill it!

From former Cardinals defensive end Markus Golden, now with the New York Giants: Let’s get it brother 💯💯💯

From Cardinals receiver Christian Kirk: 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

While Rosen has been criticized for his work ethic, his attitude and for not connecting with teammates over the last couple of years, these well-wishes show something to the contrary.

The Cardinals as an organization moved on from Rosen because they feel Murray is potentially a special player. They still think very highly of Rosen and it shows.
