Former Buckeyes teammates Marshon Lattimore, Cardale Jones swap jerseys

The New Orleans Saints defeated the Los Angeles Chargers in the second week of the 2019 NFL preseason, and the occasion served as a chance for old friends and former teammates to catch up. That included two Ohio State Buckeyes fan-favorites in Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore and Chargers quarterback Cardale Jones, who swapped jerseys after the final whistle.

They were among several friends-turned-opponents who met up after the game concluded to swap jerseys. Saints kicker Wil Lutz and Chargers cornerback Brandon Facyson, Saints cornerback Justin Hardee and Chargers cornerback Desmond King, and Saints wide receiver Austin Carr and Chargers running back Justin Jackson also made the exchange.

It’s always cool to see how these relationships endure over the years, even with former college teammates joining new teams in the NFL and getting separated by hundreds of miles. It’s clear the bond Jones and Lattimore forged at Ohio State is still strong.
