Former Boyzone star Shane Lynch struggles through awkward interview on ITV's Lorraine

Viewers of ITV's Lorraine show were stunned when former Boyzone star Shane Lynch made an awkward appearance on the morning chat show.

The singer made a guest appearance to talk about his new programme, Scrapyard Supercar in a chat with stand-in host Christine Lampard.

His latest venture will see amateur contestants raid scrapyards to beat Shane’s manufacturer-constructed supercars.

Throughout the interview fans took to social media to talk about the star, with some claiming that the Shane was still 'drunk', CornwallLive reports.

One person tweeted:"Starting the week with a car crash interview, sets the tone for the week."
