The daughter of former professional boxer Barry McGuigan has died at the age of 30.
The family confirmed the news that Danika McGuigan had sadly passed away after a battle with cancer.
In a statement they said: "It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beautiful daughter and sister, Danika "Nika" McGuigan.
"After a brief but brave battle against cancer, Nika passed away peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, July 23, surrounded by her loving family.
"As a family we are devastated and ask for complete privacy during this difficult period to allow us to grieve for our Nika.
"The McGuigan family."
Known to family and friends as Nika, she appeared in several films, including Philomena, Mammal and recently Wildlife, as well as TV and theatre productions.
She also recently appeared in Irish comedy-drama Can't Cope, Won't Cope about a group of twenty-something friends from Cork who share a house in Dublin.

Danika previously battled acute lymphoid leukaemia at the age of 11, the Mirror reports, where she underwent intensive chemotherapy for six months and made a recovery.
Danika was the retired boxers only daughter. He and wife Sandra also have three sons Shane, Jake and Blane.
Barry, 58, was nicknamed The Clones Cyclone, as he was born in Clones, County Monaghan, and became the WBA and lineal featherweight world champion during his boxing career which he ended in 1989.
