Former Bond girl Jane Seymour enjoys Dublin barbecue with Brian O’Driscoll and Amy Huberman

Former Bond girl Jane Seymour enjoyed a star-studded barbecue over the long weekend.

The actress, who played Solitare in the 1973 Bond classic Live and Let Die opposite Roger Moore, is in Dublin filming a new TV show Harry Wild and with the country winding down for the Bank Holiday, like so many others, she attended an outdoor get together.

However, the guest list was a bit more impressive than the average person’s as former rugby star Brian O’Driscoll was on grill duties and his wife Amy Huberman, comedian David O’Doherty, Irish director John Butler and Andrew Scott’s sister Sarah were the guests enjoying his fare.

Taking to Instagram to share a picture of the group, the 70-year-old star wrote: “We had a lovely outdoor BBQ with the incredibly talented rugby star @brianodriscoll cooking for us! It was nice to spend time with @amy_huberman, @scottiehoc, @mrjohnbutler, and the great comedian @phlaimeaux!

"It’s also fun to know I’m now the 'envy of Ireland' for knowing Brian, who is a fantastic chef by the way!"

The gathering appears to have taken place in Amy and Brian’s garden. In the picture, barefoot Brian looks delighted with his efforts.

Amy has previously shared pictures of the former Ireland and Leinster outside centre showing off his grilling skills “saying Bodbeque season is back”.

Amy co-stars in Harry Wild with Jane and has previously shared behind-the-scenes photos with the star and revealed: “Initially I point blank refused to come out of my trailer because Jane Seymour looks half my age.

“But I FINALLY agreed after being coaxed out with the promise of my lunch handed to me in a box and then just gave in and came to set because she is COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY FABULOUS and am convinced is a real-life unicorn made of beauty and magic and deadliness and fun.”

The Finding Joy star and writer gushed about her new co-star Jane Seymour (Amy Huberman/Instagram)

Resharing Jane’s barbecue post with her 448,000 followers, Amy wrote: “Will make exception for husband to have dins with a Bond girl. Coz she’s dreamboat."

In Harry Wild, Jane plays a recently retired English professor who takes an active interest in the criminal cases assigned to her police detective son.

While staying with him she finds herself mixed up in a murder investigation he is working on. In recent weeks she has been spotted filming in various locations around the city.

The Dublin-set mystery series is co-written by Irish writer Jo Spain. Speaking about the project, Jane said that she had fallen in love with Harry Wild from the moment she read the script.

Jane previously enjoyed a long run on television playing the lead role in Doctor Quinn, Medicine Woman from 1993-1998 before reprising the role for a TV movie in 1999.

She can currently be seen in the third and final series of The Kominsky Method on Netflix.
