A former “Bond Girl” is auctioning off her memorabilia – including the wig she wore in a 007 film.

Valerie Leon, 79, starred alongside Sean Connery in “Never Say Never Again” and Roger Moore in “The Spy Who Loved Me.”

The actress, also known for her roles in the Carry On and Hammer Horror franchises, plans to sell several unique collector’s items from her career on Oct. 27.

She is hoping to raise money for REACT – The Children’s Charity at a special auction held at Bristol Aquarium IMAX Cinema.

Some of the 40 items up for grabs include the original wig worn on set during filming of Never Say Never Again, several original scripts, movie posters and signed photographs.

The auction will take place following a special screening of her 1971 horror film “Blood From The Mummy’s Tomb.”

Carry On fans are expected to bid hundreds of pounds for unique items from her career – including her original contract for the 1970 outing “Carry On Up The Jungle.”

Her contract for her part in the movie “The Italian Job” (1969) starring Michael Caine is also up for grabs – one of very few memorabilia items remaining from the legendary film.

Auctioneer Andrew Stowe from Auctioneum of Bristol says: “Valerie has such a unique collection of memorabilia.

”She’s worked with some of the biggest names in the business, and to have items connected to some of the biggest franchises in the world is something very special.

“The wig was kept by Valerie after filming, and I was quite shocked to discover that she still had it!

“James Bond has one of the biggest fan bases around, and this wig has just been kept in a drawer since filming – I know so many fans will be after it.

“One of the most remarkable things in the sale is Valerie’s original contract from The Italian Job – the famous Michael Caine heist movie.

“Barely any memorabilia exists from the film, and it just such an iconic movie that I know it’ll be really popular with bidders.”

Leon appeared in a small role in the film as a Hotel Receptionist who serves Michael Caine at his hotel. She was paid just £35 for one day’s filming.

A portion of the proceeds will be going to REACT Children’s Charity based in Chiswick, London – a charity that helps children with terminal illness.

Tickets for the event at the Bristol Aquarium IMAX Cinema can be purchased from mummystomb.eventbrite.co.uk.
