Former Bohemians defender Warren O'Hora signs contract extension at Brighton

Warren O'Hora has landed a contract extension at Brighton.

The former Bohemians defender, 21, has today penned a fresh one-year deal with the Premier League side.

He left the Gypsies in January 2018 and has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Seagulls.

But he was on the bench for a 3-1 home League Cup defeat to Aston Villa last September.

The Dubliner was one of six out-of-contract players from the Brighton Under-23 squad to be retained today, but another six were released.

“Six members of the under-23 squad have been retained for next season and we look forward to working with these players again,” said Academy head John Morling.

Danny Cashman, Adam Desbois, Kipras Kazukolovas, Ryan Longman and Romaric Yapi are the other players kept on.

But Jordan Davies, Archie Davies, Lewis Freestone, Hugo Keto, Kacper Lopata and Bojan Radulovic have been released.
