Former Bengals DT Domata Peko is still making the free-agency rounds

Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Domata Peko is back on the open market of free agency and looking for work.

Peko, who last played for the Denver Broncos, has made it clear he would like to play for a team like the Los Angeles Chargers or Los Angeles Rams, though he’s also had interest from a team like the Detroit Lions.

“I think I have a couple more years in the tank,” Peko said, said, according to Grant Gordon of NFL.com. “My agent’s trying to work some stuff out. We’re gonna see; just being patient with it and enjoying this time with my family.”

Peko spent 2006-2016 with the Bengals after arriving via the fourth round and was a notable point of leadership throughout most of his tenure.

Peko has previously said he wanted to retire with the Bengals but he spent the last two seasons in Denver.

While the Bengals are just fine along the defensive line right now, it’s something to keep in mind as the summer unfolds, especially if the injury bug kicks up again.
