Former Bengals DE Carlos Dunlap’s restaurant opens in Cincinnati area

Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap is officially back in the Cincinnati area now that his restaurant, Honey Inhibited, has officially opened as of Monday.

The restaurant in Covington, Kentucky is his second one that has opened after he opened one in Miami as well.

Dunlap just won a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, but he seems to still have a good relationship with his former Bengals teammates after beating them in the AFC Championship.

Dunlap said that Tee Higgins has already made it in to have a meal, and he hopes Joe Burrow and some other former teammates of his will make it out to eat.

In an interview with Mohammed Ahmad of cleveland.com, Dunlap said he was working on a deal to open his restaurant in the Cincinnati area four years ago while he was playing for the Bengals.

“Things changed with my number one business, so I ended up having to pivot and put that on hold,” Dunlap said. “But my aspirations have always been to bring this to the Cincinnati area.”
