- Police stopped Warner during a random breath test, where he allegedly returned a positive roadside result.
- A subsequent test at Maroubra Police Station recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.104, which is classified as a “middle-range” prescribed concentration of alcohol (PCA) offence.
- Warner, who retired from international cricket in 2024, is currently captaining Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League.
- He is scheduled to appear before the Downing Centre Local Court on 7 May 2026 to answer the charges.
