Arsenal invincible Martin Keown believes Virgil van Dijk is the greatest centre-back to grace the Premier League.
Van Dijk enjoyed a superb year at the heart of the Reds' defence last season, staring at the back as Jurgen Klopp's side recorded 97 points and finished with the best defensive record in the Premier League.
The Dutchman was also an integral part of Liverpool’s Champions League winning campaign and came second to Barcelona’s Lionel Messi in the 2019 Ballon d'Or voting.

Van Dijk's virtually flawless Liverpool career has continued this season, with the Reds storming to the top of the Premier League table, where they currently hold a 13-point lead over second-place Leicester.
And Keown believes the former Celtic and Southampton man has now established himself as the best centre-back to ever play in the Premier League.
“I think he has to be. It's almost perfection watching him run around,” Keown replied when asked on talkSPORT if the Dutchman is the greatest centre-back in Premier League history.
“He was up in Scotland and no one really wanted him so he went to Southampton. He seemed to be a player who was slow to mature but now he is there.
“He wants to win things and it is at the right time and the right moment. City jumped out as they didn’t want to pay the big money for him.
“Now what was it, £75million? It looks like fantastic value for him.”
