Former Arsenal Women's star Karen Carney could not believe what she was watching at the Emirates on Thursday night.
The ex England winger was in the commentary box for the game between Arsenal and Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League for BT Sport.
And she was stunned by what happened.
Arsenal led at the break thanks to a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang strike right on half-time, but they were less than convincing.
And after the break they were woeful.
Two Daichi Kamada goals in the space of ten minutes turned the match on its head and Arsenal had no response, going down to a 2-1 defeat.
Arsenal will qualify for the Europa League group stages, barring a five-goal hammering by Standard Liege on matchday six, but that will come as now solace for the Gunners supporters.
Carney delivered a brutal assessment of Emery and his work with the club during her commentary.
She said: "There is no style!
"He's been here a year and a half. This isn't the Arsenal way
"Arsenal don't play like this, they've got standards and they're not playing to the levels and that's down to the manager."
With no win in five in the Premier League, things are not looking good for Emery and the Arsenal board now have a decision to make over his future, despite giving him a vote of confidence less than two weeks ago.
Arsenal legend Martin Keown said: "This is relegation form!"
