Sevilla have confirmed that their former Arsenal player, and members of the Invincibles, Jose Antonio Reyes has died in a car accident in Spain.
The 35-year-old lost his life on Saturday, June 1 in Utrera near Seville.
"We couldn't be confirming worse news," read a message published by Sevilla.
"Beloved Sevilla star Jose Antonio Reyes has died in a traffic collision. Rest in peace."

Reyes joined Arsenal in January 2004 and won the Premier League in his first season becoming the first Spaniard to lift the English title.
A member of Arsene Wenger's famous Invincibles side, he made 110 appearances in total for the north London side.
Goals against Portsmouth and Fulham in May 2004 to secure a 1-1 draw and a 1-0 win, respectively, made sure that the Gunners finished their title-winning campaign without suffering a single defeat in the league.
He left Arsenal having won an FA Cup to join Real Madrid on loan in the 2006/07 season before making a permanent switch to Atletico Madrid.
Over the course of his career we was a Europa League winner on five occasions, a La Liga champion and also won the Portuguese league title.
Arsenal Under-23 head coach Freddie Ljungberg, who played alongside Reyes as Arsenal won the Premier League title without losing a single game in 2003/04 has spoken out on Twitter.
"Numbed by the news about my former team-mate, Jose Antonio Reyes," he tweeted. "Gone far too soon, my thoughts are with his family and friends."
