Former Arsenal idol Aaron Ramsey 'offered to Chelsea' by Juventus in Jorginho swap deal - reports

Wales star Aaron Ramsey could join Chelsea as part of a Juventus swap deal to land Brazilian ace Jorginho, claim reports in Italy.

Tutto Mercato Web say Juve boss Maurizio Sarri is keen to be reunited with Jorginho for the third time, after the midfielder was key to his plans at Napoli and Chelsea.

The Italian media outlet claim the Ramsey for Jorginho suggestion is being knocked back by Chelsea, who are supposedly only willing to accept a cash offer for Jorginho.

It is the most recent bit of unwanted speculation surrounding Ramsey, who has also been linked with moves to Manchester United and Newcastle, amongst others, this summer.

Ramsey, of course, established himself as an idol at Chelsea's London rivals Arsenal, where he played for 11 years and scored two FA Cup Final winning goals.

He has made 31 Juventus appearances in his first season in Italy and is hoping to help the Italian giants to the Serie A title when they meet Sampdoria this evening.

However, he has been given a more limited number of starts than expected after joining last summer from Arsenal.

Speculation continues to rage about Ramsey's future, with a host of clubs linked with possible moves for the gifted Welsh midfield maestro.
