Tony Adams has claimed Manchester United have a few worrying things they need to be aware of following their draw with Southampton.
United failed to capitalise on their positive momentum following their 5-1 demolition of Leeds United in their opening Premier League fixture.
Southampton were able to stifle out the majority of United's attack and Ralph Hasenhuttl's side looked dangerous in attacking situations causing United ample problems in the process.
Speaking to Premier League Productions, former Premier League winner, and Arsenal captain, Tony Adams has raised concerns about United's performance in the game.
"[Southampton boss] Ralph [Hasenhuttl] will be absolutely delighted with that and they even had a few chances at the end there to win it," he said.
"There’s a few issues there for Manchester United. We were so excited about them at the start of the game but there was some poor performances today."
Adams drew special criticism for Fred who was culpable for Southampton's goal with Che Adams' shot deflecting off of the Brazilian before the ball looped over David De Gea in the Manchester United net.
"Fred was poor, he gave the ball away too many times. There’s a few worrying things there for United."
United take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux next weekend with Solskjaer's men looking to bounce back.
It is clear, United need to cut out individual mistakes if they are to have a tangible chance of winning the Premier League this season.
Fred, who produced a sumptuous display against Leeds United, has shown he is capable of much better performances and he will be keen to put his mistakes right against Wolverhampton Wanderers next weekend.
