On Friday night, former Alabama defensive back Brandfon Turnage announced that he’ll be transferring to Georgia.
Turnage, a redshirt sophomore who entered the transfer portal on May 6, is a former 4-star recruit in the class of 2019 out of Oxford, Mississippi.
He played in three games for the Crimson Tide during the 2020 season.
As a recruit, Turnage ranked as the nation’s No. 102 overall player and No. 13 cornerback in 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
Alabama had the 6-foot-1, 186-pound Turnage listed as a safety last year.
