Former Adelaide chiropractor admits to filming patients in changerooms

A man who has described his sex offending as an addiction has pleaded guilty to more than 200 charges relating to indecently filming his chiropractic patients at his Adelaide rooms.

The man, whose identity is suppressed, is no longer working as a chiropractor.

He faced Adelaide Magistrates Court and admitted to all 216 offences, including indecent filming, production of child pornography and assault.

The court heard women and girls aged between 11 and 60 were filmed as they undressed in changerooms at the practice and two clients' genitals were filmed during massages.

The prosecution told an earlier hearing the man claimed to a friend he had filmed more than 400 people over about four years.

The court heard the man used the videos for sexual gratification and had described his offending as a "sex addiction".

The court was told a patient was assaulted after she had grabbed the man's camera and he tried to retrieve it.

The man's home detention bail was revoked at a previous hearing in October and he remains in custody, to return to court next month.
