Former 5-star center Harry Miller becomes 3rd freshmen to shed black stripe

Harry Miller joins Garrett Wilson and Zach Harrison as the team’s first three freshmen to earn their official place as an Ohio State Buckeye.

Miller, the Class of 2019’s second-best center, was a five-star recruit out of Buford, GA. He’s been running with the second team so far and has impressed. He could push for playing time this fall if he continues his development.

The 6-3 tank also visited Georgia, Stanford and Notre Dame ,but settled on the banks of the Olentangy. Miller gave a brief speech thanking his teammates following the announcement of his black stripe being shed that we have for you below thanks to the official Twitter page of Ohio State Football.

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day commented on what he’s seen from Miller and what to expect from the freshman on the field. Per Eleven Warriors, Day can see a spot for Miller perhaps as the season progresses.

“I don’t know if he should be, but I think he has the ability to be. He has to continue to grow as the season moves on. I do see him getting on the field.”
