Forgotten Liverpool man at crossroads after latest loan deal extended

Allan Rodrigues de Souza joined Liverpool in 2015 but is yet to make a single appearance for the Reds.

And the Brazilian midfielder has now reportedly extended his loan deal with Fluminense by six months.

His lack of Liverpool playing time follows the difficulty the club have faced when attempting to secure Allan a work permit.

The 22-year-old has therefore been loaned out a whopping six times in order to bolster his chances of securing permission to play in England.

At the start of last season the former Internacional youngster was deployed to the Bundesliga on a season-long loan with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Unfortunately for Allan that deal was cut short and in February he returned to Brazil to play for Fluminense.

And Globo Esporte via Sport Witness have claimed a new deal has been struck to keep the playmaker in his home nation until the end of the regular season which finishes in December.

While this is a setback for Allan's Liverpool career, the player has started eight times for the Rio de Janeiro-based side and is beginning to command a regular starting position.
