Forgotten Leeds United man refuses to give up on comeback

Leeds United fans are refusing to give up on a return to the Premier League this season.

The Whites haven't been in action since early March following the suspension of football due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

It remains unclear when, or if, the season will restart, although talks remain ongoing.

Should the season not be completed, it seems likely Leeds would be awarded a place in the top-flight, although there are no certainties in these unprecedented times.

With that in mind, it seems rather appropriate one forgotten Whites man is not giving up on his future at the club.

Ouasim Bouy is yet to play for Leeds since signing in January 2018.

The midfielder spent last season at PEC Zwolle on loan, but mustered only 12 starts for the Eredivisie side.

Back at Elland Road, his fortunes have not changed, with Buoy unable to break into the Leeds matchday squad and make an impression on Marcelo Bielsa.

It seems, judging by his latest Instagram post, he's refusing to give up on hopes of making an impact at Elland Road.

His latest upload, captioned: "Nothing but progress", signifies he still believes in a future at the club.

However, time is certainly running out for the 26-year-old, who remains on the fringes of Leeds' squad.
