Hayato Inamura has left Celtic to join FC Tokyo, both clubs have announced.
The 24-year-old defender joined the Scottish Premiership champions last summer, following a breakthrough season at Albirex Niigata.

However, he was loaned out to Tokyo in January, with an option to buy inserted into his deal, which appears to have been exercised by the club.
Speaking to his new side following the announcement, Inamura said, "I have joined the club on a permanent transfer and will be playing for FC Tokyo from next season onwards.
"I am determined to give my all so that I can become part of Tokyo’s history.

The versatile defender only played one game for Celtic, in a 3-0 home victory over Livingston.
Since joining Tokyo, he has made 17 appearances in all competitions.
