Tiemoue Bakayoko makes decision over his Chelsea future after AC Milan loan spell

Tiemoue Bakayoko is likely to be back at Chelsea next season following his loan spell at AC Milan.

And according to his brother, the former Monaco man is looking for stability in his career as he looks to stake his claim for a place back in the Chelsea side.

Bakayoko has spent the season on loan with the Serie A side, playing 31 times in the league for the Rossoneri as Milan finished in fifth place, one place and one point behind city rivals Inter as they missed out on Champions League football.

But with his parent club Chelsea back in the Champions League next season after finishing third in the Premier League, Bakayoko's brother Abdoulaye says that the 24-year-old's priority is to get back into the team in west London.

“There are some pretty interesting, quite big clubs that have enquired, but we give priority to Chelsea," he said, as quoted by French publication L'Equipe .

"We already know there is the Champions League and we are looking for stability. Tiémoué has decided to stay there."

Bakayoko joined the Blues in the summer of 2017 in a deal worth a reported £40million, but he struggled for consistency and form during his first season in England.

The Frenchman did feature 43 times for the Blues in all competitions under Antonio Conte, scoring three times, but he was allowed to move on loan to AC Milan for the 2018/19 season.

Milan had the option to buy the midfielder as part of the deal, but that has not yet been taken up.
