Forget Quiet Luxury, I'm Obsessed with Cameron Diaz's Lavish Art Deco Bathroom – it's Undeniably Glamorous and Enduringly Timeless

Cameron Diaz.

A glamorous bathroom is undeniably timeless. Whether it's enriched in luxurious materials or decked out with high-end fixtures, bathrooms that radiate old-world luxury are hard to beat.

While many bathroom ideas today are influenced by the quiet luxury aesthetic, I'm convinced that one of the most enchanting looks to date was invented many decades earlier. It was Cameron Diaz's space that made me even more sure of this. Covered in glass tiles (much like the Versailles style from Ann Sacks) , gold, and plenty of marble, it's a homage to Art Deco and the grandeur of Hollywood in the 1920s.

Designed by Interior Design master Kelly Wearstler, Cameron's bathroom is a refreshing take on the historic style, bringing the decadence of Art Deco into the modern day.

Cameron's bathroom oozes glamour and decadence. While the tiling and vanity unit are the stars of the show, the smaller touches tie the scheme together. Cameron's sink set-up is so stylish thanks to these three staples.

A modern take on Art Deco design, Cameron Diaz's Manhattan bathroom oozes sophistication. From the marble vanity unit to the glass tiles that adorn the walls, it's a magical design that evokes a sense of grandeur and decadence.

There are plenty of contemporary touches, too. The bathroom storage is undeniably clever. Fitted with rows of drawers with gold handles, a mundane storage vessel becomes a work of art through the (clever) use of hardware.

A white bathroom can feel stark or clinical, but the stained glass tiles bring a lived-in, faded charm to the space as well as some much-needed depth. Similarly, the marble brings intricacy and variation.

Cameron Diaz's bathroom is a lesson in making the Art Deco style feel current. Fitted with high-end hardware, fixtures and materials, the space is undoubtedly luxe and nods to the decadence of a century ago.
