Wyze announced new home security camera – the Duo Cam Pan – which uses two cameras in an effort to remove any blind spots from awkward or hard to view areas. With a top camera that offers a 360 degree pan and 180 tilt motion tracking and a bottom stationary camera with a speaker and microphone, the Duo Cam Pan is able to capture multiple views of an area at once — something not often found among the best home security cameras.
While the Duo Cam Pan is not fully wireless — it's powered vi a 1.8m USB cable — it is rated IP65 weather resistant so it can be mounted in a variety of indoor or outdoor locations. Wyze has pointed out that it has been specifically designed in order to minimize equipment and installation time, but it also delivers “double the visibility with the affordability and convenience of one device.” Each lens can capture adjacent areas, or one camera can follow movement while the other keeps watch on the full picture.

The other features of the Duo Cam Pan include a 2K resolution with color night vision and a wide dynamic range, which balances dark and light spots for more even pictures.
Each camera includes a motion activated spotlight and there’s a 100db siren as an intruder deterrent. Users can set up to four spots for the camera to scan and regularly patrol in any area using the Pan Scan feature.
There’s also two way audio, 24/7 local recording using the 512 GB microSD card (which means there’s no subscription required), and the Duo Cam Pan will work with smart home assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant. It can also work with Wyze Automation and has IFTTT support.
The Duo Cam Pan is available on Wyze.com starting today for $70, which is around double that of some of Wyze's other cameras, but hey, you're getting two cameras for one here.
