A public appeal has been launched by police to trace a missing 14-year-old girl from Forfar.
Alana Whitelaw was last seen around 9pm on Sunday in the Warddykes Road area of Arbroath, with another possible sighting in the Ferryden area of Montrose around 11.25pm on the same night.
Police say Alana’s family are becoming “increasingly worried” about her safety.
She is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, with long black hair and was last seen wearing a red puffer jacket, black Nike leggings and white Nike trainers.
Alana is also known to frequent Dundee.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Alana should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident reference 3680 of the 10th October 2021.
