'Forever in our shadow' - Arsenal fans taunt Spurs supporters amid Paulo Dybala transfer update

Paulo Dybala’s deal to join Tottenham Hotspur looks to have fallen through and Arsenal fans are lapping it up on social media.

The Juventus forward looks unlikely to arrive in north London this summer after failing to reach an agreement over his image rights.

His wage demands were also a concern with the Tottenham hierarchy as they were with Manchester United which saw that deal fall through.

Although Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso are expected to join Mauricio Pochettino’s team today, this is a blow for Spurs as they try to bolster their squad before today’s 5pm deadline.

A fee was believed to be agreed with Juventus for the 25-year-old Argentine but now the deal is unlikely to happen, while Arsenal fans are expecting to see David Luiz and Kieran Tierney in a red shirt by the end of the transfer window.

The Gunners are believed to have agreed £8m and £25m fees for the two defenders, respectively.
