Another High Street fashion brand has announced plans which look set to include closing stores in the UK.
American chain Forever 21 has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the USA.
In a statement, the company said it plans to "exit most international locations in Asia and Europe" and expects to close up to 350 stores worldwide.
The chain has branches across the country, including in London's Oxford Street, Birmingham Bullring and Liverpool.
The company expects to drop from 800 branches to between 450 and 500.
A spokesman said: "Decisions as to which international locations will be closing are ongoing. We do not expect to exit any major markets in the US."
The company already announced plans to pull out of Japan.
"This does not mean that we are going out of business - on the contrary, filing for bankruptcy protection is a deliberate and decisive step to put us on a successful track for the future."
The company has secured $275m (£224m) in financing from existing lenders and $75m in new capital.
