Forest Hill stabbing: schoolboy fights for life after being knifed in broad daylight on south-east London street

A schoolboy is fighting for life after being knifed in broad daylight on a street in south-east London.

Scotland Yard said it was called shortly after 4pm on Monday to reports of a stabbing in Dartmouth Road, Forest Hill.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a boy, believed aged 15, suffering a stab injury.

He was rushed to a south London hospital where he remains in a critical condition following the attack.

The victim's next of kin have been informed.

There have been no arrests.

Labour MP for Lewisham West and Penge Ellie Reeves tweeted: "Extremely sorry to hear about the stabbing on Dartmouth Road SE23 this afternoon. I am in close contact with the police and my thoughts are with the victim who I hope has a speedy recovery from this terrible act."
