Forest fires, bees and Georgia's EU aspirations: Talking Europe highlights (part 2)

As Europe goes off on its summer holidays, we continue our look back at some of the big stories we reported on in the last few months. In this second part of the programme, we revisit our reports from Portugal on forest fires and the wider issue of climate change, as well as our interviews with key European figures, including Georgia's first ever female president.

With Brexit climbing back up the news agenda, we revisit our interview with Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, who tells us why she will continue to push for Scottish Independence as a "No Deal" appears ever likelier.

In Portugal, we find out how and why trees are being used to fight forest fires; and we meet a beekeeper who explains why she's joining a legal effort to force more action on climate change at a European level.

We hear from the legendary Polar explorer Jean-Louis Etienne on why he fears that melting sea ice at the North Pole could lead to new industrial drilling and catastrophic sea pollution.

We ask Georgia's first ever female president, Salome Zourabichvili, how far her European ambitions go.

And in Fact or Fake, we investigate the (untrue) claim that the EU flag has secret religious origins.
