Police are investigating after a man's body was found at a property in Liverpool.
Emergency services were called to Woolton in the early hours of Saturday morning, where police patrols found a male who was unresponsive and unconscious.
A crew from the North West Ambulance Service was called to the scene, on Whitney Road, and the man was pronounced dead.
Three police vehicles were parked in the street this morning, with forensics officers among those in the area.
Neighbours said they had not heard anything, but had woken to the police presence in the street.
There was no cordon in place.
Merseyside Police is currently treating the death as unexplained while work to understand the circumstances continue.
