Forensics officers are working at a house in Stockport this evening.
The officers are working on Arley Grove, in the Adswood area of the town.
Investigators in forensic outfits are currently at a semi-detached property on the residential street.
The Manchester Evening News has contacted Greater Manchester Police for details of the exact nature of the incident.
Neighbours say an ambulance arrived outside the property at around 3pm on Monday afternoon (March 21).
Police arrived shortly later, they said.
A number of police vehicles, including a patrol car and a van, were still at the scene on Monday night.
