Forensics comb scene after 'unexplained death' of man found in street

Forensic officers are combing the scene where a man was found dead in the early hours of this morning.

Officers were contacted at around midnight, on August 13, after reports a man had been found at the junction of Leeds Street and Vauxhall Road.

The man sadly died a short time later.

In pictures from the scene, taken today, a large cordon is covering the pavement and a grassy area on Leeds Street.

Forensic officers can be seen going in and out of a tent, which has been put up on the grass area, at the side of the busy city centre street.

The tent, which is among trees, is facing the YMCA building which is opposite.
