Forensic teams have been scouring an area of a Glasgow park as part of a major investigation involving a fire amid reports that a body has been found.
Emergency services were called to reports of a fire Househill Park near Hartstone Road in the Pollok area of the city around 7.35am on Wednesday August 4.
Although police have confirmed they were called to a fire, local reports suggest a body has also been discovered in the vicinity.
This has not yet been confirmed.
Pictures from the scene show a number of uniformed detectives and forensic teams in the area, with parts of the park and nearby street cordoned off.

Two blue forensic tents can also be seen.
Six police vehicles were spotted early this morning and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service’s fire investigation unit were also present.
An area near a bridge, which crosses the Levern Water, appears to be the focus of the investigation, with an evidence bag seen close to one of the police barriers.

Two men in protective white suits could be seen walking into a taped off area of the park next to Hartstone Road.
Residents living around the park say they do not know exactly what took place during the incident, saying locals were blocked from accessing the bridge.
Cara Malone, 23, who works at Sunset Beach next to the park, said: “I came into work at 9.30am and bumped into a friend.
“She told me that she’d tried to get over the bridge in the park but it had all been cordoned off by the police and she couldn’t get through.”
A staff member from a local newsagents added: “It’s not that strange to see police at that park, there’s always lots of stuff happening there.”
