Forensic investigators at scene of police incident in Chorlton

Police and forensic investigators are at the scene of an incident in Chorlton tonight.

An area close to shops on Wilbraham Road has been sealed off.

Evidence markers can be seen on the pavement and a phone box has been taped off.

There are unconfirmed reports of a stabbing - the Manchester Evening News has contacted Greater Manchester Police for comment and further details.

What appears to be a mobile phone can also be seen - as well as clothing.

Two police cars are also stationed close to the scene.

Thee busy road hasn't been closed and remains open.

The exact scene is close to a parade of shops on Wilbraham Road, further up from the Morrison's garage.
