According to a source familiar with the matter, foreign hostages are set to be released alongside the 33 Israeli hostages as part of a ceasefire and hostage release deal. The initial phase of the agreement involves the release of the Israeli hostages by Hamas and its allied militant groups. The identities of the foreign nationals to be released have not been disclosed.
The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office has provided details on the composition of the hostages in Gaza. Of the 84 hostages, the majority are Israeli or hold dual citizenship. Additionally, there are eight hostages from Thailand, one from Nepal, and one from Tanzania. Tragically, the PMO has confirmed that one individual from Tanzania and two from Thailand are believed to have lost their lives.

Shamir Medical Center, one of the hospitals in Israel designated to receive the hostages returning from Gaza, has made preparations to accommodate both Israeli and foreign citizens. Isolated compounds have been readied to ensure the safe and secure reception of the returning hostages.
