Festive holiday prices have been slashed by tour operators and flight costs have fallen dramatically ahead of the Christmas period.
Many firms are offering amazing bargains in the run-up to Christmas to help boost sales hit by new testing rules and the emergence of the Omicron variant.
Some late booking air fares have been cut by 50 per cent with many cheap seats available for a variety of destinations.
An easyJet fare from Gatwick to Faro in Portugal is available for less than £50 return. Ryanair is selling a return between London Gatwick and Alicante in Spain for just £62 with the outbound trips on December 15 returning on December 23.
Meanwhile, the UK's largest tour operator has also reduced prices. TUI is offering a 14-night break to Spain, from Cardiff on December 18, at £350 per person.
A three-night full board break at Hotel Rio Park, Benidorm, between December 18 and December 21 has also been cut from £657 to £127 per person.
A spokesperson for TUI said: “We’ve got some great Christmas deals available for customers who want the ease of getting away from their local airport, and who prefer to swap the winter temperatures at home for some warmth and sunshine instead.”
Jet2 is also offering a selection of pre-Christmas deals at low prices.
