Forehill Primary pupils unveil new road safety campaign outside school

Smart thinking pupils have launched their own road safety campaign to protect the streets around their school.

Kids at Ayr’s Forehill Primary are helping to tackle dangerous parking from parents.

The school’s junior road safety officers have devised their own hi-vis campaign, complete with banners around the school gates.

And the message is clear – think twice before choosing where to park during the morning drop off and afternoon pick up.

Road safety officers Cerys Anderson, Millie Morrison, Sophie Mason, Sarah Cooke and Aimie Glackin are pictured launching the campaign with one of their colourful banners.
