Fordham University Requests NYPD Presence To Maintain Order On Campus

Fordham University Lincoln Center has requested the presence of the New York Police Department on campus until at least May 22 to prevent the reestablishment of encampments and maintain order. This decision was communicated in a letter shared on social media by the NYPD.

According to the letter, all commencement and diploma ceremonies will be concluded by May 22. The school emphasized the importance of handling any necessary removals from the campus with care and caution, stating that the safety and security of the community are top priorities.
