Ford Ranger lifted off Nottingham road after parking in 'no stopping' zone

A Ford Ranger has been lifted off a Nottingham street after it was found parked in a no stopping zone, council staff said. A team of community protection officers from Nottingham City Council posted an image of the vehicle being lifted onto the back of a truck.

In a post on Twitter at around 11am, they said: "Guys if you see a No Stopping like below please don't park there If you do then you will be visiting the Team at the Nottingham Vehicle Pound."

In a later post R.E.A.C.T Nottingham posted four photos of cars parked near a university campus. They said: "We understand students need to travel to study but the university campus does have onsite Parking. Residents permit areas are for residents and their visitors only. Not free Parking for students."
