Ford expands its Puma pack

FORD is offering buyers of its new Puma compact crossover even more choice with additional powertrain and equipment level options.

Customers of the blue oval badge marque can now choose from Puma models equipped with a new seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a luxurious new Puma ST-Line X Vignale variant.

The auto gearbox for the 125PS 1.0-litre petrol EcoBoost engine is said to be capable of 45.6mpg, with CO2 emissions of 138g/km and is available on models costing from £22,945. Based on the sporty Puma ST-Line X variant, the Vignale is priced from £25,240 and adds even more premium styling and specification.

Unique details include exclusive 18in alloys, a satin aluminium upper grille and surround, ebony lower grille, and body-coloured lower rear bumper. Standard specification includes signature LED headlights, Windsor leather upholstery, heated front seats and steering wheel and Ford KeyFree system.

The brand has already announced that a performance-based Puma ST model will join the range later this year.

Ford Europe sales boss Roelant de Waard said: “Customers have told us they want a range of options to help find a combination of style, equipment, performance and efficiency that’s just right for them. That’s something we committed to delivering with the Puma and we’re not finished yet.”
