NEW YORK, April 15, 2021 – Forbes today announced its upcoming virtual Under 30 event – the Forbes Under 30 Summit Kickoff: Decade of Disruption, presented by Rocket Mortgage – will take place on May 26, starting the countdown to the anticipated return of Forbes’ flagship Under 30 Summit Detroit in October.
The Under 30 Summit Kickoff is a key component of Forbes’ yearlong 10th anniversary celebration of Under 30 that started with the launch of the 2021 30 Under 30 list. Focusing on the theme “Decade of Disruption,” the event will convene a dynamic roster of young leaders and entrepreneurs, and spotlight Under 30 disruptors from the past 10 years who have rewritten rules, reshaped industries, generated tremendous impact and are continuing to trailblaze the path to a brighter tomorrow.
The theme of the event will focus on paving the road ahead to drive actionable solutions for helping the world build back more equitably. While the acceleration of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout provides hope that the end of the pandemic is in sight, the world we reenter will be unlike the one we knew before. The past year has highlighted structural injustices in our society, as well as the need for innovative visionaries and technology to create a more equitable future.
The Forbes Under 30 Summit Kickoff event will feature key speakers, including:
· Sabrina Carpenter, Musician, Actor & Producer
· Rachel Carlson, Cofounder, Guild Education
· Nate Faust, Cofounder, Jet & Founder, Olive
· Joe Jonas, Musician, Actor & Entrepreneur
· Armando Senra, Head of iShares Americas, BlackRock
· Cami Tellez, Cofounder & CEO, Parade
