The pub at which David Cameron and China’s president, Xi Jinping, had a beer in 2015 was in the Buckinghamshire village of Cadsden, in the Chilterns, not in the Cotswolds as an article said (“The party’s not over yet”, 9 August, New Review, page 37).
A picture was miscaptioned as showing a paddleboarder watching the sunset in North Shields. In fact the image was taken at sunrise at Cullercoats bay, North Tyneside (“Up the creek with 19,000 paddles as UK takes to the water”, 9 August, page 16).
