The two-year restoration of the Châtelet theatre in Paris cost £28.6m, not £12m, and the artistic director, Ruth Mackenzie, was formerly of the Scottish Opera, not the Scottish Ballet (“‘It belongs to the people’: new life for British director’s Paris theatre”, 8 September, News, page 42).
