For the record

An error introduced at the editing stage of “Nespresso bid to recycle coffee pods” (News, last week, page 15) led us to claim that the coffee company Nespresso was to trial a scheme for consumers to recycle used aluminium capsules for the first time in the UK. This was incorrect. Consumers have been able to recycle their capsules for many years. This will be the first time they can do so through a local council.

Usage corner: nemesis – an agent of retribution and vengeance; not the same as an enemy or rival (“Primates again”, New Review, last week, page 6; “France’s waverers on the left”, News, last week, page 24; “How one woman harnessed people power”, News, 23 April, page 20).

Apologies to Søren Frost, drummer with the Danish Radio Big Band. It is he who duets with Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts on the album Charlie Watts Meets the Danish Radio Big Band, not, as we said in our review, guest drummer Jim Keltner (New Review, last week, page 31).

Our Championship roundup (Sport, last week, page 12) said Wigan lost 2-0 to Reading last Saturday. The correct score, 1-0 to Reading, appeared in the results service on page 19.
