For the record

King’s College Choir will sing A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols for the 100th year on Christmas Eve, but the broadcast (Radio 4) will not be the 100th, as we said. The service was first broadcast in 1928 (“Top boys’ choir embraces a new carol amid the changing times”, 9 December, News, page 5).
