A rare chance has come up to buy a 250 year lease on a small plot of land on an East Midlands business park.
Innes England is looking for interest in the lease for part of Sherwood Park, just off J27 of the M1 in Annesley, Nottingham.
It is asking for offers in excess of £225,000.
The commercial property agent said the current passing rent is £5,151 a year – with future rent reviews linked to inflation.
It said the investment is also government-backed, with the ground rent coming from the Police & Crime Commissioners in the East Midlands.
The sub-tenant has constructed a meter house on the site to accommodate an electricity supply plant room which serves a nearby office building and lab occupied by the East Midlands Police Forces.

Companies based there include Rolls Royce, Pendragon, Dell, Eddie Stobart, E-on and L’Oreal.
