Dyson's excellent cleaning performance is no joke, and if you've read any of my vacuum guides on Homes & Gardens, you'll know just how highly I recommend these effortless vacuums after 1000+ hours of testing.
But with high performance comes high prices, which unfortunately put many of Dyson's offerings out of reach. That's why I'm thrilled to see the Dyson V8 discounted by a huge $260, taking the price down to a much-more-reasonable $329.99.
That makes it hundreds of dollars cheaper than the best Dyson vacuums, while still sharing many of the key features we absolutely adore in the top models.
Why I'm recommending the Dyson V8 at this discounted price
Dyson's best cordless vacuums are famous for their suction power, and the V8 is no different. But what makes them clean so effectively is also the design of their attachments.
The Dyson V8 uses the Motorbar floorhead which, from the 82 best vacuums we've tested at Homes & Gardens, is the best for vacuuming all floor types and messes, but particularly carpets and hair. It's the same attachment used in our all-time favorite Dyson V15 Detect.
So, if you're looking for the best vacuum for pet hair on a budget, the Dyson V8 is an excellent choice. I've been using the Motorbar attachment for more than a year and it's never once wrapped with hair.
With the V8 you'll also enjoy up to 40 minutes of cleaning, and whole-machine HEPA filtration that traps up to 99.99% of common household allergens such as dust, pollen and dander.
It's a fantastic, lightweight cleaner that's perfect for cleaning all types of mess.
The Dyson V8 is available for $329.99 at Dyson.
