From Thursday until Sunday, you can get your hands on a diverse selection of contemporary art publications, as the annual Bangkok Art Book Fair returns for its second edition.
Held in Sathon's Bangkok CityCity Gallery and initiated by Bangkok-based design company Studio 150, the book fair aims to be a platform for artists, photographers, writers, graphic designers, illustrators, art collectives and independent publishers from both Thailand and abroad to form connections and exchange valuable knowledge and insights.
With more independent publications and artists self-publishing art books, the Bangkok Art Book Fair 2018 would be the perfect place for Thailand's art, design and printing community to gain knowledge in art, design and printing production.
This year there will be spaces dedicated to art books and art-publication exhibitors, a stage for the launching of recently published art books, a series of talks and lectures on art book making, publishing workshops, and an archive exhibiting Thailand's art books and publications. There will also be food and drinks.
The opening reception of the Bangkok Art Book Fair 2018 will take place on Thursdayat 6pm with special guest DJ Tada from Piti Party.
The Bangkok Art Book Fair 2018 at Bangkok CityCity Gallery (Sathon 1) will be held Thursday, 6-9pm; Friday until Sunday, 1pm-9pm. Fee is 60 baht per person per day. Children under 12 years old can enter for free.
