Football Weekly: Ferguson and Howard Webb ruin King Kenny's return

The King is dead, long live the king!
On your brand new Football Weekly, Jimbo and the podstronauts ponder the second reign of Kenny Dalglish at Liverpool. Barney Ronay is excited, Gregg Roughley even more so, having had first-hand experience of the Scot's managerial style.

Manchester United got the better of the Reds in Dalglish's first game in charge – with no small amount of help from Howard Webb – and we analyse that game along with all the other action from the third round of the FA Cup, including that that punch at Stevenage.

Also in the podcast, Paolo Bandini has the skinny on Leonardo's winning start at Internazionale, while Sid Lowe rounds up the news from Spain (guess what? Real Madrid and Barcelona both won. Again).

We're back as usual on Thursday. In the meantime, post your feedback on the blog below, as well as your choice of Green Day songs for Paolo's Vegas wedding.
